We are back from San Luis Obispo. Happy 5 years to us. Time has flown by. I can't wait till we are celebrating 50 years and hanging out in good ol' slo town. We had a great time and will make our summer trip this year as well.
After our visit I had a few questions about good ol' slo town.
1. Why is it getting harder and harder to recognize the small town where I went to school?
2. Why are there so many boutiques there?
3. What happened to the bars I went to?
4. Why are they trying to make another Santa Barbara or some other OC like area? AKA a snobby place.
5. Why is ag land at cal poly being used for dorms?
6. Why don't you see any babies except for ours screaming in restaurants?
7. How is it that the firemen fighting a brush fire get to stay at the Embassy Suites? And if Jerry is every on hanging out in SLO on a strike team I am going up to hang out with him.
8. Why couldn't the weather have been unusually warm there while the rest of the state was freezing?
9. Why do you feel like everyone is checking you or your husband out?
10. Where did all my friends go?
and last but not least
11. Why is it so hard to travel with Children?
So next year We are going to be 1. not pregnant 2. not breastfeeding and we are going wine tasting and even stopping by Firestone brewing and beer tasting. That will be one heck of a trip. Put in your RSVP to join us now. We will hire a bus and make a fun trip out of it. Maybe I can even find someone who will watch my kids for me. Hint, hint, mom. If we bring our friends with us SLO town will feel like the home it once was. It really is the last place that has felt like home to me since Etna. The AV is just a resting place for us. Before we move up to the mountains to be hermits.

Count us in for next year! That sounds like fun! I'll figure someting out baby-wise. I love SLO, hope they're not trying to make it too snobby. xoxo
