My Kids

Last night I was reflecting on the last year and my two kids. James has been walking for a year now. He was a slow walker but now he runs and jumps and dances. He cracks me up daily. Last night he wanted me to sit on the floor while he sat in the rocking chair by himself with a blanket and his books. He apparently was reading to himself. Hannah was sitting on the floor next to me. Both kids were in their PJs ready for bed. Hannah can sit up in the tub and play with James now. Although she is flipping herself forward as to start crawling or something so that is a dangerous move in the tub. James is selective when sharing toys with Hannah she can play with the ones he is not as interested in. After I put James to bed I put Hannah to bed and she went to sleep fast and easy and I thought Ok, we can do this. Some nights I wonder what I have gotten myself into. But the easy nights are a nice change of pace. Hannah woke up again before I was in bed so I got to cuddle her back to sleep and just watch her sleep. What a gift to watch a baby sleeping and smell their sweet milk breath. The last 7 months have flown by. My babies are going to be kids before I know it.
