Lots of things can happen in 72 hours. Hannah can get a fever and get healthy. James can almost get potty trained. James can get sick. Mom can clean the house, wait no that didn't happen.
Hannah went to the doctor because of her lump under her nipple. It turns out she has an infected gland. We got started with the antibiotics which she hates taking and then that night she had a fever and was feeling miserable. It just saddened me to look at her. She is feeling better now. Thankfully.
James is doing well today with potty training. He loves the candy and the special underwear. I just have to stay on top of him. But he did let me know that he had to go. I was soooo proud of him. Baby steps.
I went grocery shopping today and James was whining the whole time. So I asked him whats going on? He said "hurts". Ok what hurts. Then the attentive mom that I am felt his head. Oh your warm. Makes sense. Hannie just had a fever. So we came home and little boy took a nap. He hasn't had a nap in his bed in forever.
So I had both of my children napping at the same time so what did I do? Clean house of course. Nope. I watched desperate housewives and bought some exercise videos online. What else would I do?
Well Jerry will be home tomorrow to get us all back together again. It seems the kids hold it together until he leaves. But it really hasn't been that bad of a 72 shift. But I still have 10 hours or so to go.
On a final note I hope to make it to the gym tomorrow. But we will see. That's why I am buying DVDs.
