We had a great time. Thank you parents. We had babysitting, shuttle, cooking and dishes service in Mammoth. Jerry and I had a great time snowboarding and skiing. I hadn't been skiing in a long time and my goal was to not hold Jerry back too much. The longer we were there the more difficult the runs became as Jerry pushed me. But I had a great time. Even when the winds at the top of chair 25 were blowing me back up the hill. The only skin I had visible was my nose so it wasn't too bad. On Thursday we got a foot of snow or more and the powder was thick. Jerry had a blast on his snowboard and I had the best thigh work out ever on my skis. I took quite a few nasty falls on Thursday because of the powder but it was worth spending that much time with Jerry, just he and I. The kids were great and had a fun time with Nana & Papa. Hannah was a terrible sleeper at night that was the only sour note of the whole trip. Hopefully she will sleep better tonight in her own bed. I can't wait to go again. Jerry even said I can get my own gear someday instead of renting. By the way I hate ski boots. But I will never learn to snowboard. I can almost keep up with Jerry now I never want to go back to learning.
