Time for a cleanse

I decided I would follow the 7 day cleansing diet in Baron Baptiste's book Journey into Power. He is a major yoga dude. It is kind of lax in directions but needless to say day 1 and 2 were not bad because it was just eating light without any dairy (hard for a cheese lover like myself) and very limited fats, carbs, and proteins. Days 3, 4, & 5 are fruit only. I thought not so hard I love fruit. Ha! I broke down and had some nuts today. Avocados and Tomatoes are allowed thankfully. But I have two more days to go and I don't know if I can make it. You may be asking why is crazy girl doing a toxin cleanse anyways. Because I want to start eating healthier, Hannah’s bag of m&ms has seen much better days. Plus I have been addicted to coffee; I would rather it be a special treat vs. a necessity. There are many other reasons, including I am trying to see if there are any food triggers to my sinus problems, and listing them all would be just silly. So I won't. But it is tougher than I thought especially dinner time. Days 6 and 7 go back to the same as days 1 and 2. We will see if I even make it through day 4.

In other areas of my life that need cleansing it is MUD! As we all know we had some major snow, followed by some rain and some more snow. Not perfect conditions for drilling a well, let alone driving on some of the dirt roads around here. So Jerry and I treated each other to an early Valentines Day gift of 8 dump truck loads of base. Which I have now learned is gravel, sand, & some dirt. This was so the water truck could make it to the well drilling rig. We also learned that since they had taken so much time off they had to re-drill what they had already drilled. So Thursday was our first day of drilling, again. I will eventually post some pictures on flickr of my kids playing in the mud.
