That right, I tried making another pie today. Whiskey pecan pie, I got the recipe from a cookbook I had. Pecan for Jerry, it's his favorite. Whiskey because it sounded different. Because I like cooking more than baking I have a tendency to look at the more different recipes. You would think since I don't like baking go with the safe.
Well the first bite surprised him and the more he ate the better he liked it. I don't eat pecan pie so I didn't even try it. It's hard to make something you don't eat. Little sacrifices for the husband, again.
