mixed feelings

I spent all day complaining about the mess my little dog chip makes. Then last night he got out, he blew past me at the gate. We almost had him caught, then he decided to see how fast he can run. I thought he was a goner. I instantly drove the route we run every morning. Luckily I saw two women walking and asked them if they had seen a dog. They hadn't so I turned around and went back into my neighborhood. I found him in a yard, he took off, running right in front of cars. Then the ran up another driveway, then he took off. I saw him go into a long driveway and I tried to get him to come out with out me trespassing into someones yard. No luck I went up into their landscaping and managed to retrieve my dog. I was sad about the prospect of losing him. I am glad he made it home.

crazy busy

We have been crazy busy lately. Both with fun stuff and work. Which by the way according to James I don't work. This is debatable for both sides.

I have been doing some fun projects, ones Jerry would usually do. Things like climbing ladders, hanging stuff (chandeliers, motion detectors, misters, etc.), going to Lowes 3 times a day. You see we have to let his back heal so I get to do anything that may not work out so well for him. He has to push me too, I don't like ladders at all. To hang our new chandelier he tied two ladders together and made me climb them. I wasn't happy. But I wired it and hung it and now it sits very pretty over my dining room table.

Other things include, new doctors appointments, Hannah weighs all of 23 lbs, she is at 5% of her age. Her height is around 75%, so long and lean I guess. James is 36 lbs together they are 59 lbs of fun loving joy.

We are having an issue with our back wall neighbor, hopefully it just goes away.

Who is the 80 year old down the street?

Now before I get started, I know I went to plenty of parties in college that were noisy. But that was college and a college town. Jerry teases me all the time of being 28 going on 80. "Look at those young folk driving all fast around." Last night our "trashy" neighbors had a party. This party involved techno music being blasted very loud. This music kept James from falling asleep. James kept Hannah from staying asleep. Hannah not sleeping made Momma Monkey call the cops at 9:00 at night. I should have given them until 10:00 but I was ready to call at 7:00. So 9:00 was a compromise. I know that the police have better things to do on a Saturday night than to hush up noisy neighbors and if Jerry would have been home I was fired up enough to go say something myself. But since you cant leave your kids alone the police have to be called in.

Just one more sign that it is meant to be for us to move to a rural area.
