Nesting?

I am wondering if there is really such a thing as nesting. I have a new theory. As you approach the due date deadline you realize that the long list of things you have been carrying around in your brain may never get done if you don't do it NOW.

With in the last couple of days I have re-organized my pantry and my room. The pantry was a small job. I just needed to group like things together again.

Our room on the other hand was a gigantic disaster area. Let me paint you a picture. Starting with the college themed furniture, we have a bed, two small white dressers used as night tables, a card table used as a TV stand, a dinosaur TV, a treadmill and a love seat that is part of the leather set that was in our family room. Luckily I have a large closet so the clothes have a home. They don't find their home very often. I am terrible at putting away clean clothes. There were 3 large rubber maids with maternity clothes loitering about. Jerry had cleaned out his locker and I am sure there were 50 fire department t-shirts in a pile. The packing blankets we had used on our move were stacked in there as well. Jerry and I are still in our library kick so each of us had a good 20 books near the nightstands. It was a mess. Now it's clean. This new found clean makes me think about the furniture we need to get. Bedroom furniture is such a low priority, I mean who sees it but us? Plus I can always find somewhere else to spend the money. Plus it's hard to decide what furniture to get.

Those two projects are done and crossed off this list. But get this I haven't even started Hannah's scrap book yet. Heck, I haven't even printed pictures of Hannah yet. They are stored away on a external hard drive. I got close once. I had them all on my old school shuffle to take to Costco. I didn't get to Costco. The shuffle got put in a sports bra on a run, one of my more genius moments, now it won't work. Picture printing postponed again.

Maybe this long to do list and the due date combo causes that late night pregnancy insomnia as well. Maybe I will get around to writing out the list and keep chipping away at it for the next 4 months.
